**To delete a resource**

The following ``delete-resource`` example deletes a AWS::Kinesis::Stream resource with the identifier ResourceExample from your AWS account. ::

    aws cloudcontrol delete-resource \
        --type-name AWS::Kinesis::Stream \
        --identifier ResourceExample
